At the door: $18, $15 for Blues members (from any Blues Society) with valid membership card.

Our Clubhouse, formerly Gilda’s Red Door, is an organization dedicated to giving free care to those suffering from cancer …and their families during and after treatment. All funds from Fighting Back will go to the Our Clubhouse.

WHY???

Many months ago, Tina Daniels Melisko approached the Blues Society of Western PA asking about hosting a show to support and help cancer patients who are suffering and in need.

The BSWPA gathered and ‘threw in’ to bring awareness to those in need. Research was done to find an organization that fit the criteria for this year’s show. Bands were asked to perform…and all had a common thread…CANCER.

How???

Each band that day has had a member that has faced cancer, fought cancer and survived. Each band will be giving back that day. They will be fighting back, giving back and all ‘banding together’ to throw cancer to the mat.

1:00 pm – 1:30 pm Tina Daniels Melisko and Hi Road Easy

1:45 pm – 2:15 pm Sweaty Betty Blues Band

2:30 pm – 3:00 pm Miss Freddye’s Blues Band

3:15 pm – 3:45 pm Jill West & Blues Attack

4:00 pm – 4:30 pm Dave Iglar Band

4:45 pm - 6:00 pm Sean Carney, International Blues Challenge winner and International Guitarist of the year, will appear with the Jimmy Adler Band

6:00 pm – 7:00 pm….All Star Jam with Sean Carney, Jimmy Adler and friends.

It is always a privilege to share the music and to help others.

It is an even bigger privilege to share the Blues to enable Western PA to sample a small portion of the talent that lives within our region.

Everyone has been touched by cancer…where a family member, a friend, a colleague, a neighbor. Cancer does not discriminate. Cancer has no qualms about hitting the young, the old, male or female. Cancer does not care if it is a convenient time. Cancer is always there. Lurking, preying, causing uphevel, pain….and changing lives forever.

WE ask that you join us for a day filled with Blues…all given and played from the heart.
