We've Got the Blues...Come and get them!

Dear Blues Family,

Singing the Blues about summer coming to end? Never fear, more Blues are coming your way.

The fest season was memorable. Thank you to everyone who stopped by the Blues booth to say hello, share a hug, catch up on news It and sometimes get a smooch.

How thrilling to be a part of the FIRST Pittsburgh Blues and Roots fest. When asked last year… ‘What do you think? Will the blues fans show up for a new fest?’

My response, ‘You bring the music, the blues fans will follow! We will be there with smiles on our faces and savoring the music! Bring it on!!’ The blues fans did not disappoint. It was a new venue, a new look, a wide variety of music….it was a homerun out of the starting gate! Thank you to everyone who showed their support!

Kudos to everyone involved…Band Together with Ron Esser, John Vento, Jim Stewart, the impressive acts, the volunteers and the blues fans.

Another need is on the horizon. We all saw those horrific scenes from the devastation caused by hurricanes in Houston and in Florida. It was haunting and heartbreaking. In response to the call to respond to the many needs that have resulted, Ron Esser has organized….
