Looking back, The Blues Society of Western PA decided to explore different opportunities in 2016. Once such activity was the ‘Music Trails’ show. It was an afternoon combining jazz and blues, exploring the history of Blues today and infusing it with modern twists. It was an exciting and interesting offering. The Blues Society of Western PA is thrilled to announce that once again that 'our' annual event, the 2016 New Year's Eve Blues Bash is 'SOLD OUT'. Whew, it has been fast and furious. The tickets were flying out the door at such a rapid pace....we were whirling keeping up with the sales. We thank everyone who has chosen to ring in the New Year and blues it up with the Blues Society of Western PA. Blues news that you can use will be coming your way! • Blues Christmas party on Saturday, December 17 Moondog’s, Blawnox, PA On the agenda that night…. *Blues members are asked to attend the annual general meeting at 6:30 pm. A valid blues membership card will give you entry into the back room of Moondog’s. *Light fare will be served after the meeting.
