Annual Member Meeting & Blues Day Out

All BSWPA members are invited to the member meeting, followed by the show. Show price is $5 for BSWPA members, $7 public.

This member meeting will include the election of BSWPA officers for the June 2019 through May 2020 fiscal year. Offices subject to election include President, Vice President, Membership Secretary, Recording Secretary, and Treasurer. All members are encouraged to attend. Lite fare will be provided.

Blues Day Out will follow the meeting featuring a Guitar Showdown with local favorite Pierce Dipner joined by Shelby Cheyenne travelling in from Austin, TX. Each will perform their own set with a backing band, then jam together for the last set. Price for the Blues Day Out will be $5 for BSWPA members, $7 for public.

The Nominating Committee of the BSWPA will be accepting nominations for each office through Sunday, May 13, 2019. Nominations must be submitted to Terry in writing at 553 Sloan Hill Road, Templeton PA 15241 or via email at to1@comcast.net.

All nominations must include the name, address, and phone number as well as a written or emailed acknowledgement from the nominee that he or she is willing to accept the nomination.

Please note that per BSWPA Bylaws, only those who have been BSWPA members in good standing for at least one (1) year preceding June 9, 2019 are eligible to serve as BSWPA officers.

The BSWPA is also accepting applications for a few vacancies for energeting and motivated individuals on its Board of Directors. Board members are expected to attend bi-monthly meetings, volunteer to assist with events, work on committees, help to secure donations and sponsorships, and generally contribute to the mission of the BSWPA.
